overpriced food and happy about it

we were trying to figure out what to do on saturday.
cameron started looking online and came across the taste of joliet.
its like a mix between a carnival, a fair, and a concert.
three things i love.
so we make our way to this little event.
and by little i mean, very large.
we get there.
buy our tickets.
go in, and wander around.

when you go to things like this, you can't NOT get fair food.
you know.
disgusting, greasy, and fried yet ohhh so good.
so there we are attempting to get food when we realize we don't have any cash.
our credit card wasn't set up to take money out of ATM's.
and we had just cancelled our debit card because someone decided to take $1200 from us.
but thats a whole other story.
so there we are with no way to get money out of the ATM.
we tried like 7 ATM's. no joke.
so we walk around and try to figure out what to do.
oh and beforehand, we drove around for 20 minutes trying to find
a parking spot closer than a mile and a half away.
yeah, i was not walking that far.
and we weren't just gonna walk back to the car to drive somewhere
after it took that long to find such a great spot.
yeah, i know dumb. but i don't even care.

so pretty much a year and a half later cameron gets ahold of american express.
they put ATM access on our card.
with a fee of course.
plus the fee to use the atm.
so pretty much we had to pay a huge fee to buy already overpriced food.
but it was fine.
cause the tickets weren't too much.
so i just think of it like we spent all that money on concert tickets.
and got free greasy food with it.
great deal, eh? haha
so pretty much i loved listening to all these awesome songs live.
especially this song, and this one, and this one too.
it was like country heaven.
(thank you maren and kathryn for forcing me to like country in high school)
and there were a zillion people there singing along and it was awesome.

oh and we ate corn dogs and a funnel cake while doing it.
my stomach hated me the next day but it was totally worth it. duh.
