our day was pretty low key.
we went to walmart and got some pretty dumb fireworks.
the only legal things here are smoke bombs and sparklers.
not even kidding.
in the evening we went to a BBQ with some people from cameron's work.
we made this delicious 7 layer dip.
but i don't like half the things in the recipe so it was pretty much a 3 layer dip.
still good.
then we went to a park to watch fireworks.
illinois fireworks < utah fireworks
cameron wanted to make a time lapse of the fireworks.
but i forgot the go pro.
so that didnt happen.
he even asked me if i had it before we left and i said yes.
i really dont know what i was thinking.
we didnt get any pictures either.
sorry.
and that was pretty much the extent of our fourth of july weekend.
we have a hard time finding things to do here on the weekend.
we miss the mountains.
all we want to do is go for a hike.
but i guess that is just too much to ask for right now.
and we have officially been here longer than we have left.
happy day.
Hopefully Tanner is keeping you well entertained this week so you can have so much fun you won't be able to handle it, haha!! I heard that the Museum of Science & Industry is way cool (pretty much a full day event), or the aquarium. Just a thought in case you are bored at any given time! Love ya kiddo!! See you guys soon :)
