tanner is here!

tanner came into town on tuesday night.
the chicago airport is freaking massive and i never want to go back there again.
but i have to drop him off.
that will be fun.
not.
but we definitely have had a good time while he has been in town.
plus i have a couple days off of work which is the best thing ever.
we went downtown and hung out.
we were gonna go to the beach but it got too cold.
so we walked around.
went to the navy pier.
went and showed tanner the bean.
you know, all the touristy things.
then back to the pier to catch a boat ride.
that was fun.
by then it was like 7:30 at night and we were starving
so we walked back over by the bean and found giordano's.
we got some yummy deep dish pizza.
oh by the way its like 1.8 miles between the navy pier and the bean.
and we walked back and forth twice.
you do the math.
our feet hurt.
we ordered pizza and it took over an hour to come out.
we were all pretty dead.
it was a great day.
oh and anyone with hair longer than one inch should pretty much give up out here.
the humidity has decided that it is in charge.
i've pretty much given up on even trying.
