no hills.
nothing.
and cameron and i really like our outdoors.
we are dying for a good hike.
the closest thing is this place called starved rock.
but thats like an hour+ away from us.
and we really want to go camping there one of these weekends.
buuuut, one problem.. we forgot our tent.
we made sure to bring our sleeping bags, pads, tarp, camel back, and all that jazz.
but of course. we forget our tent.
so maybe we will camp under the stars? who knows.
last saturday cameron and i went on a "nature hike"
which was a trail around a lake pretty much.
lots of trees surround the lake so there were a few small trails off the main trail.
but there were about four million seven hundred thousand five hundred mosquitos.
so those didnt last long.
its kind of cool though.
there are little froggies. and big froggies jumping around.
and we saw a baby turtle.
and here are some pictures of this so called nature hike.
cameron eating his delicious sandwich.
he really loved that sandwich.
cameron told me to hold still cause this would be a cool picture.
but....i did not like that bug on me. i swear i felt it biting me.
the turtle we saw. i tried getting a better picture
but it ran under all that nasty green stuff.
off the main trail. didn't last long.
the froggy.
it rains a lot here. so its super green. i do like how green it is.
You know you are pulling at Tanner's heart strings, right? He is gonna totally NEED that turtle!! It is pretty out there, I like all that green. Oh...and be careful not to catch dengue fever from those nasty mosquitos, haha!! Brittany says dengue fever is really super fun :)
