i hate how you have to have titles. I CANT THINK OF ANY.

so i usually post like one post but i am just gonna
update you on a few days of our week.

monday.
first, nithila had an all day birthday party to attend, so it was just aaru and i for the day.
aaru had a play date with izzy who has a neighborhood pool. i want one.
(play dates with young kids require both parents to be there. awkward!!!)
we went there for about an hour.
pretty much they went down the water slide the whole time
while we caught them at the bottom, because they can't swim.
but it was still fun to get in the water.

tuesday.
we went to the dupage children's museum.
i know i've said it before, but i seriously love that place.
and so do they, so its a win win right there.

wednesday:
both girls were invited to a pool party.
and since aaru can't swim, that meant i was invited too.
it was at a city pool.
so pretty much all the older girls hung out and then there was me and aaru.
trying to go down the waterslides but she was barely too short.
soo, kiddie pool it was.
for 4 hours.
but they did serve us cake and pizza so that was cool.
imagine how awkward it is being at a birthday party with a bunch of nine year olds.
and i am there with the children.
not really my cup o' tea, but its whatever.
i got a little sunburned, so thats kind of exciting.

thursday.
remember that one time we did that  "adventure fun run"
and collected the tickets to win prizes?
we done it again. and didnt win anything... again.
cameron and i were joking during the run that its only fun if you win things.
and if you don't then it totally sucks. and we are never coming back.
(its the fourth thursday of every month)
and we ARE NEVER GOING BACK. not because we don't want to.
but because we can't.
and i'm not even sad we wont be here for the next one.
that means we almost get to come home.
and here are our tickets compared to the family next to us.
its not funny cause we ran 3 miles and i literally heard the mom say
"i got all these tickets and i didn't even run!"
i seriously would have been mad if they won. luckily they didn't. i'm mean, i know.

friday.
we rode roller skates around the neighborhood.
whoever invented those crappy plastic wheeled roller skates... WHY.
nithila did just fine, but aaru is still getting the hang of it.
aka she has no idea what she is doing.
she she just grabs onto my hand the whole time and then falls (i think on purpose)
and then its like a freaking workout for my arm.
so the whole time i was saying "wow, its really hot, we should go inside"
and they finally caved.
and thats when we started putting together the hello kitty scrapbook.

let me tell you guys.
this is good stuff.
the girls used to NEVER listen to me.
but they are being a lot better now. and i think i will miss them when i leave.
did i just say that?
they love me. nithila always says "kaesi, you are the best babysitter!"
and aaru always gives me kisses and hugs. always.
makes me feel like i'm doing something right i guess.
