we get home from swim lessons around 12.
we eat lunch.
during lunch the insist on watching tv.
usually its the magic school bus.
that show used to be so cool.
i mean, its the same episodes i watched when i was young.
but they are just soooo lame.
i try not to let them watch too much tv.
back in utah i nannied 2 little girls (same ages) on fridays.
and sometimes the tv would be on in the morning
while they were getting ready for school.
i would ask them a question (while the tv is on)
and its like i don't even exist.
i thought it was just those girls.
but NO. its all of them.
it's like if the tv is on, it's the only thing that exists.
and if i want to ask them a question,
i have to go stand 1 foot from their face
between them and the tv and talk very loudly.
i'm like, seriously?
that is why i try not to let them watch too much.
anyways. the point of this post is to show
you how much they "get into" watching their show.
how can that be comfortable?
she is watching through the tiny hole in the arm of the bench.
Oh my gosh! I HATE TV. Ok, well I love watching it, but I don't want my kids to be TV junkies! It starts from the beginning. Whenever there is a tv on, India is glued and it's sad!
