campin in da cold.

thursday afternoon myself, lacey, tyson, derek, and skyler headed up to the meadow hot pots.

it was a wee bit chilly.

we got there.

set up camp.

started a fire.

made dutch oven dinner.

and waited for the rest of the peeps to arrive.

[other peeps = hannah, ben, dave, and alex]

once they got there we swam in the water for a bit.

came back and they ate dinner.

then derek brewed up some peach-raspberry cobbler.

 i didnt take this picture. but these are them. just imagine going in at night.

at first we were all gonna sleep in the same tent to keep warm.

then dave ditched us for the other tent by himself.

and throughout the night we lost two of our fellow tent-mates.

they were upset at some other tent-mates that were snoring.

derek ditched us for the other tent.

and ben ditched us for his car. 

wimp.

we got to bed about 1 am.

and got up about 7:30.

got camp all packed up and headed home.

it was a short, fun, cold, funny, and great way to finish up the christmas break.

i was wearing a beanie almost the whole time.
including through the night.
didnt take it off till i got home.
and found this masterpiece inside.
alex says it looks like cabbage.
