longest blog post ever.

i know i know. 

its been a while since i blogged.

i have been a busy lady.

and now i have a lot to blog about.

this is gonna be long.

so i wont be offended if you dont read the whole thing.

lets see here..

last wednesday was my last official day of baby watch.

also the best day ever. seriously.

i was done.

i went to the airport and got derek.

then we headed over to the pool/pizza party.

that was a lot of fun.

as much as i didnt like california, i really am gonna miss the friends i made there.

hey kenna. guess who!

ps. hows idaho?! haha

on thursday we went to six flags.

it was sooooo great!

im so mad though. 

i had my bag.

but then they wouldnt let me take it on the rides. and i was not paying 11$ for a locker.

so we took it back to the car.

my camera was in my bag.

which equals no pictures of six flags.

boooo.

but just imagine.

on friday we went to santa monica beach.

got fried to a crisp.

especially derek.

boogied it up. 

caught some sweet waves.

swung on rings.

walked the pier.

watched weird people do weird things.

etc etc etc.

later that night we went to the universal city walk.

ate delicious food at hard rock cafe.

bought gummy snakes.

which are so delicious.

and walked the city.

you know how we do.

the next morning we made the trek to a billion degree weather. 

mesquite.

ok so maybe not a billion. but literally 115. 

you get out of the car and a heat wave instantly hits you.

it was awesome.

me, derek, his parents & grandparents went and ate yummy food.

then i made him go to the pool even though he was already super burnt.

we came back and just hung out at the house.

twas a lot of fun.

thanks for lettin us crash :)

saturday we got up and ate a delish breakfast.

then our trek to utah began.

that was probably the longest 4 hour drive of my life.

i was sooo anxious to get home and see my fam.

we finally pull up and tanner runs out the front door and jumps into my arms.

hes like a man now. he grew so much.

went inside and saw the rest of my fam.

i love them.

that night some cousins & the g's came over.

we ate.

ribs.

potato salad.

pasta salad.

banana bread.

grilled pineapple.

baked beans.

and everything delicious.

thanks mom & dad

we went and hung out at the parade route for a bit 

me, tan & derk went and had our own slumber par-tay at my house.

got up this mornin and watched the parade with the fam.

they didnt even pass out candy at the parade. 

how pathetic is that?

afterwards, we went swimmin at king henry with candy.

which by the way i am soo happy to see.

i love her.

came back and ate leftovers from last night.

aka yummy food.

got all ready.

went to riverton for a bit.

which seemed like 3 seconds cause i fell asleep the whole time.

came back and ate pizza.

then we played bocci ball in the canyon.

pretty sure the blue team cheated.

and rigged the balls or something.

15-4.

who looses that bad?

then we had ourself some lovely fireworks.

oh and some watermelon.

derek converted gramps to watermelon with lemon juice, salt, and chili powder.

me and tanner both tried it and threw up.
not literally. but close to it.

probably one of the grossest things i've tried.

no offense.

derk and grandpa are offish bffs.

home is so great.

im soooo happy to be home.

i never thought this day would come.

and i love it.

soooo much.

okay. that is all. sorry i just wrote a novel.
